Spring Intergration: Full Immersion Sound Bath
Saturday March 28th | 6:30pm–8:00pm
With the arrival of spring, energy begins to rise — light increases, momentum builds, and the body starts to move outward again. This immersion is designed to support that transition with steadiness rather than strain.
Spring is not just about activation. It is about integration — allowing new growth to root deeply instead of rushing toward expansion.
This 90-minute experience includes guided grounding and meditation, a 60-minute immersive sound journey, and spacious integration at the close.
The immersion weaves together gong, crystal bowls, voice, and drums in a way that supports the body’s natural recalibration. Nothing is forced. Nothing is “done” to you. The sound creates the conditions — your system does the work.
This is a space to:
Integrate the shift into spring
Release lingering winter contraction
Support nervous system balance as energy rises
Anchor clarity and embodied steadiness
We’ll begin with grounding and intention, enter the immersive sound journey, and close with integration and reflection.
🧘 What to Bring
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow for your comfort while lying down. An eye mask and extra blanket are recommended, as body temperature may drop during deep relaxation. A cushion under the knees can help support the low back.
A limited number of mats will be available upon request. Please notify us in advance if you will need one.
Space is intentionally limited to 8 participants.
For ages 15 and older.

About Julie Kalua
Julie Kalua is a sound practitioner, educator, and buyer for East West Bookshop’s singing bowl department. With years of experience selecting and working with bowls, she brings a finely attuned ear for tone, resonance, and subtle shifts in the nervous system developed through direct practice and community offerings.
Through workshops, private sessions, and one-on-one mentorship, Julie guides participants in building a more grounded relationship with their bodies using sound, breath, and simple embodied practices. Her work centers on steadiness, internal alignment, and giving people practical tools they can carry into daily life.
Sound remains her primary medium — not as performance, but as a resource for presence, clarity, and self-trust.
