Is this for you?
Have you done a sound bath before and wanted to go deeper?
Do you find it hard to fully let go in a larger group setting?
Are you ready for an experience where there is more space — physically, sonically, and internally?
This is the same 90-minute Full Immersion structure, held in a smaller, more intentional container. Four people. More room. And something most sound baths can't offer — 145 degrees of sound surrounding you in the space.
With only 4 participants, the sound has more space to move. Many people find they drop into a deeper state simply because there is less in the room competing for their nervous system's attention.
The experience:
The session opens with 15–20 minutes of guided grounding, breathwork, and meditation — giving your nervous system time to arrive before sound begins.
Sound begins at the 20-minute mark. Crystal singing bowls, gong, rattle, drum, and voice woven together for 45–50 minutes of full immersion. The bowl placement creates 145 degrees of sound in the room — you are not listening to sound, you are inside it.
The final minutes are held for quiet re-integration and reflection.
This experience creates space to:
Release accumulated tension and slow racing thoughts
Reconnect with the body after long periods of cognitive overload
Support emotional processing and nervous system balance
Experience deep rest without numbing
Access a level of stillness that is harder to reach in a larger group
What to Bring Yoga mat, blanket, and pillow. You will be lying on the floor throughout. An eye mask is optional. An extra blanket is recommended as body temperature may drop during deep relaxation.
Cancellation & Transfer Policy A minimum of 72 hours' notice is required for a full refund. To transfer your registration to a future date, email notification is required within 24 hours of the event. Send requests to julie.eastwestbooks@gmail.com
About Julie Kalua
Julie Kalua is a sound practitioner, educator, and buyer for East West Bookshop’s singing bowl department. With years of experience selecting and working with bowls, she brings a finely attuned ear for tone, resonance, and subtle shifts in the nervous system developed through direct practice and community offerings.
Through workshops, private sessions, and one-on-one mentorship, Julie guides participants in building a more grounded relationship with their bodies using sound, breath, and simple embodied practices. Her work centers on steadiness, internal alignment, and giving people practical tools they can carry into daily life.
Sound remains her primary medium — not as performance, but as a resource for presence, clarity, and self-trust.
