A guided sound experience and foundational teaching
Join Julie Kalua for an introduction to crystal singing bowls — designed for those curious about sound healing and interested in experiencing how crystal sound interacts with the body.
This is a listening experience — where you’ll learn to recognize how different bowls sound, feel, and move through your body.
With over three years as the singing bowl buyer at East West Bookshop, Julie brings a trained ear and grounded approach to sound, guiding you into direct experience.
This experience includes:

A short sound-based settling to help the body become more receptive to sound
🎶 Live Crystal Bowl Demonstration
Experience multiple bowls played in real time, including the difference between frosted crystal bowls and gemstone-infused bowls .

Learn to notice where sound lands in your body, how it moves, and what your system responds to

A clear, accessible overview of how crystal bowls are used in practice

For those who feel called to go further, Julie offers 1:1 Crystal Bowl Sessions where you’ll learn how to properly play and work with the bowls in a focused, hands-on setting
