The Durga Yantra is known to evoke an inner and outer space protective shield. Beware, this Yantra may stimulate and invoke the memory of your own innate power! This handmade Light Sculpture invokes the following qualities in your space:

In the form of Durga, the Divine bestows her blessings as Power (shakti). Nothing can stand in her way. She is like a fortress through which no evil or negative energy can penetrate. She is Kundalini herself. Traditionally, she is depicted sitting on a tiger or lion, symbolizing her control over natural forces. With her trident (the astral spine), she kills the demon. Similarly, the Yogi raises his energy along the inner spine, overcoming all negative tendencies. Durga is completely independent. She is the only goddess without a husband. Durga reminds us of our inner state of complete Self-contentment — in the inner fullfillment in Divine bliss.

Materials
Built on eight levels of carved wood with acrylic molding, and LED lights. Painted and shaped by hand with gold plating. Each piece is individually hand-decorated by the artist with the greatest care, ensuring that the energy the yantra transmits is of its fullest potential, bringing maximum benefit to the space in which it is displayed.

A note about color

The yantras pick up colors. They change depending on the wall color or lighting where they are displayed. Our website and catalog are true representations of what you will receive against the backgrounds and lighting shown. But, like a clear quartz crystal, their “personalities” change depending on their surroundings. Against a white background in normal light, a Sculpture of Light may appear lighter or more muted.
