Imagine the geometry of time. To achieve a grand unified theory (GUT) of physics, a GUT of mathematics is needed to geometrize time. This idea has magical ramifications, as a new theory of time would help civilization become interstellar. Jump through the mathematical looking-glass, experiment with a new theory of multi-time, and discover what it means to geometrize time. Participants will learn about Ra densities, basic mathematics of advanced cosmology, and how changing four mathematical constructs results in interstellar possibilities. The material is advanced, but accessible to all, through guided experiments and discussion.
Coleman Dobson is a Caltech Fellow mathematician, with an MS in Mathematics and Physics, and doctoral interests in M-theory and KacMoody Algebras. She intersects Lie Algebras with Continental Thought in hyper-Wittengsteinism moduli. She is a math professor and researcher at UCLA, CSULA, and ArtCenter College of Design.
