The Great Elf Hunt - Downtown Mountain View

Join the festivities downtown and discover the hidden elf!

Starting on December 16, join the holiday fun and search for the hidden elf at East West. The scavenger hunt will extend through the entire holiday season, ending on December 30.

If you visit the store on Saturday, December 16, for the Great Elf Kickoff while wearing a Santa, Elf, Grinch or Reindeer costume, you'll receive a small, tasty gift at the front desk (12/16/23 only). 

Be sure to snap a selfie of your outfit, and don’t forget to find and take a photo of the elf (hidden in the store). Create an Instagram post or story tagging the @mountainview_dba & #mvelves  (to enter to win local prizes). Tag @eastwestbookshopmv on social media so we can join in on the fun too! You will need to find seven elves hidden within participating businesses. There are bonus points when you tag each business!

In addition, the Mountain View Downtown Business association is offering gift wrapping services on Saturday, December 16 from 11am-4pm as a fundraiser. Bring your gifts to the gift wrap table on Castro and get them wrapped in exchange for a suggested $10 donation. The proceeds will benefit the Day Workers Center.

Lastly, the Mountain View Downtown Business Association will be collecting canned goods, warm clothing, and toys. Let’s come together to spread holiday cheer and support our local community!
